WTF did he do?

Here it is a race controversy that America has been asking for. I've been hearing cable news reporters and interviewers asking for an honest and open race discussion in America. Well here is the chance for that discussion-- presented on a silver platter. The "chance for discussion" I am referring to is the story of the Harvard Professor arrested in his own home after being a suspected burglar of the home. The story is making headlines, partially (or mainly) because President Obama gave his opinion on the matter. The statement Obama made has been appearing on late night television shows because many feel the President made a mistake by saying the police department made a stupid decision for arresting the Harvard Professor. The Harvard Professor is a black man and he says the Police department only arrested him because he is black, which is racial profiling...

So, many people are speaking out on this issue, (mainly the people who we saw on T.V. during the election season, & of course my fav. Mr. Bill O'Reilly is a jerk) giving their opinion on the matter. Mainly, they are saying the President jumped the gun and should not have said what he said. Me, I think the police officer was wrong for arresting the black man, because the man told the officer he was a Harvard Professor (that should stand for something-- I'm pretty sure with that title, there is some type of noble reputation carried with it). So then, maybe the President wasn't wrong for making his statement. The bigger picture though, is that the President is making the situation smooth by having a couple of brewsky's with the two men to relieve tension. That's that Obama swag....

By the way, the charges were dropped against the Professor.

Is it racial profiling?

Twhat The Twuck!

Twhat's happening my tweoples. There is something bothering me. It's the twitter lingo. It isn't the lingo itself, but its how people constantly change TOO MANY normal words and phrases in to twitter lingo. My twiggas! Twe ain't twopping for twnoone nor twothing! Twake twime to smell twe roses my tweoples.

In an earlier blog post I mentioned the "coolness" of the twitter lingo, but now the coolness factor is gone because people went overboard with the lingo.

I'm still a fan of Twitter though.

There's a Change...

I just

finished watching the Karrine "Superhead" interview she did on the today show and I must say I was knocked off my saddle (just a little off). I'm thinking to myself what is a self admitted former whore going to explain to not so whorish women how to get and keep a man. I know she'd give ok sexual advice but what about the other stuff. I was astonished to listen to the now married and matured lady entertain and advise Hoda and Kathy Lee Gifford during the interview. She turned whoring into a legitimate business! WTF!!!!!!

To Mr. O'Reilly... Follow Up

So I have to write a follow up to the Thumb's DOWN award winners from a couple of days ago. Mr O'Reily in particular (I don't know if there are two l's in his last but I really don't care enough to look it up). I ranted about Mr O'Reilly's psychobabble crybaby nonsense to his viewers about the coverage of Michael Jackson's death. I think I missed to hit the point in midst of all my ranting. Mr. O'Really don't care, When you have a mass number of people in grievance over the same person, there is going to be a major, major funeral in his honor. (By funeral, I mean a reason to celebrate that person's life). Being that Michael Jackson was the most recognized person in the world, just imagine the amount of people grieving at the time of his death. In what way but in a major platform to honor (not GLORIFY) this man. That way everyone grieved together. Now for you to make your show a platform to fallaciously speculate about people's grievance for Michael Jackson is trashy. You made statements like... "They are glorifying this man!" & "Why are Blacks rallying... [I mean Al Sharpton is there]... [he CHOSE to have White children]..." WTF is your problem you race hungry IDIOT!!! WTF!! Why is your point of view RACE related? No wonder majority of America is tuned OUT of your radar! Your train of thought is wrecked birdbrain. You ARE NOT intelligent, so stop trying to pass yourself off as a know it all, imbecile.

Thumbs DOWN! (Idiots)

Ok, so here is the dreaded Thumbs DOWN award. OK I do not like to single people out, but there are some serious nimrods doing ignorant things around me and I feel like calling it. Sean Hannity, Mr. Bill O'Reilly and the ENTIRE FOX News network channel. First, Mr. Hannity cried and complained when Democrats "beat up" on former President George W. Bush, but now that President Barack H. Obama is in office he DEDICATES his show to the blasting and "beating" of Obama. WTF!!! You friggin hypocrite!

Next, Mr. Bill O decides to COMPLAIN about the world coverage of the passing and memorial of Icon Michael Jackson. WTF!!! You frickin nimrod! HELLLLOOOOO, he was only the most recognized person in the WORLD and he had a crazy fan base. Even "major A-list celebrities" were touched when they learned of his passing. You even have a segment on your show dedicated to famous American celebrities, but you throw a B.F. when the entire WORLD celebrates the most famous American celebrity. You backwards idiot! WTF is your problem with MJ?? Is it the legal issues he faced? (In the court of law he was found NOT guilty)! WTF!!! Friggin cry baby.

Finally, the employer of the idiots mentioned above, takes the Thumbs DOWN award on behalf of the entire network. As I mentioned before, you idiots did not properly cover the breaking news of MJ's death and you still refuse to honor him. WTF!! I am tired of your network and your ignorant behavior, and for that I give you the Thumbs DOWN award. Idiots.

Thumbs UP!!

I've decided to add a new feature to my blog; Thumbs UP and Thumbs DOWN. I will showcase MY picks for the person or people or thing(s) staying on the job. I will also showcase MY picks for the person or people or thing(s) that do not get the job done.

So, here is MY pick for the Thumbs UP award: AC360 and the ENTIRE CNN news broadcasting network. The network's coverage on the passing of Michael Jackson and his memorial signifies that the network UNDERSTOOD how LARGE of an Icon MJ really was. They understood that the ENTIRE WORLD wept when it learned of MJ's passing, and even MORE people watched his memorial. The number 1 most recognized person: Michael Jackson, R.I.P.

Is He Leaving??

After a chit-chat with my brother-in-law about the Lebron/ Shaq situation in Cleveland, he suggested to me that Lebron is GOING to New Jersey. His reasoning? Well, everyone knows Lebron and Jay-Z mingle and since Lebron is becoming a free agent this year and Jay-Z owns the Nets, he thinks Lebron is leaving my beloved Ohio and going to Jersey. What do you think??

Another Banger!

Man, I've got another banger for ya'll. I LOVE the song EGO by Beyonce' and Kanye'. That is a SMASH for sure. I Love that song so much, I keep it on repeat, and repeat again. It's hot. The song title is only fit for Kanye' as he spits the intro verse. I LOVE, LOVE it. If you wanna hear it, go to the mini TV located in the side panel and type: Beyonce and Kanye West Ego. Blaze it.

Warning: This song can have a mistaken reference to the male anatomy.

WTF!!!

WTF is wrong with Kim Jong-Il and North Korea? WTF is their problem? Why are those idiots test firing missiles and such? Who do they have beef with? Who bothers them? WTF?!! Why has those idiots test fired missiles 9 different time line points this year alone? WTF!!! Why has those idiots test fired banned ballistic missiles? WTF do those idiots want??

I do not really seem too much bothered by the missile testing which seems to be directed towards the U.S. Although I am not a big fan of war, I am particularly ok that the U.S. has an outstanding Military/defense system. The U.S. sustains 48% of the world defense spending, and make it 85% when the figure is combined our allies. WTF!

Tragedy in the NFL

Steve McNair, a retired NFL (National Football League) quarterback was found shot dead at a Nashville condominium home which was owned by McNair and a friend of his. Laying next to McNair was a 20 year old woman, Sahel Kazemi who was McNair's girlfriend, and laying under her was a pistol. It is speculated to be a murder-suicide caused by Kazemi, but it is not yet confirmed because authorities need to further investigate. McNair was married with 4 children. I do not wish to comment any further.

Wimbledon Finals

Wimbledon proved to be a great pick for last weeks "best anticipated event" RunDown. My pick, Serena Williams, took the title for the women, but my man of choice, Roddick lost to Federer in a great finals match up Sunday. In the woman's final, Serena Williams won against older sister Venus Williams for the third time at Wimbledon. This year's Wimbledon win makes for Serena's 11th major Grand Slam title. Even as she has won 3 of her last 4 Grand Slam championships, Serena is still ranked 2nd in the WTA (Women's Tennis Association), only behind Dinara Safina.

The men brawled it out on the tennis court. Playing in tie-breaking sets and playing a tie-breaker for the final set proved exciting for fan's of Roddick and Federer. Although Roddick, (who was my pick for the title) was playing well throughout the entire Grand Slam event (Wimbledon), Federer stomped harder and played harder to come away with his 15th Grand Slam title. The win yesterday was a record breaking win for Federer; he formally tied Pete Sampras (one of MY all-time favorites, ) for most major title wins. Look for Federer to hold the number 1 ranking for the men.

Jumping Ahead?

Sarah Palin announced today that she will NOT seek re-election to continue governing the state of Alaska. Elected in 2006, Palin's term as governor is due to end in 2010. So what does all this mean? Many are speculating that Palin has her thoughts on running for U.S. President in 2012. Palin first came under radar when former Presidential Republican nominee John McCain named her as his VP choice in 2008. Palin made plenty of headlines during campaign 2008. Many people in the Democrat party evaluated Palin as a woman not fit for Vice President; while the Republican party embraced Palin with open arms. To many Republicans, she was a much needed energized breath of fresh air.

I have a feeling though, that liberals are not at all concerned with Palin making plans for a 2012 election bid. With complete confidence in their nominee turned President- Barack Obama, the Democrats do not seemed phased over Palin's announcement.

I do have to note that I am an Independent (not belonging to ANY political party), but I am however, a supporter of Barack Obama.

UPDATE!---Palin says she's out of politics for good!

Soulja Boy Takes a Tweet

Follow Friday is a term interlinked between followers of Twitter. Well, July 2, 2009 should go down as Follow Soulja Boy Thursday because he gained a gang of followers on Twitter that day. Soulja Boy and several of his followers alerted the Twitter world to follow him, and for each follow he promised his new followers a "pow" response. His page was lit with @ --POW!

Soulja Boy's rank increased to top spot 34 (according to twitterholic.com, no affiliation with Twitter), right under Celebrity Rehab host Dr. Drew, and right above business tycoon Martha Stewart. Soulja Boy's follower's list increased to a whopping 978,796 followers, WTF!!!

For the 2012 Presidential election campaign year, I nominate Soulja Boy to be the face of the young people to rock the Get Out and Vote campaign.

Happy Independence Day!

We're coming up on a holiday weekend, Independence Day! The day we (the United States) celebrate our independence from Britain. With the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the country ( colonies) gained freedom.

I'm celebrating with my family and friends this weekend... Everyone enjoy your holiday!

Halle Berry, Halle Berry!

I just watched the Hurricane Chris video for Halle Berry (She's Fine), and man that song is sooo hot!! I really like that song. It made the "Bests" list two weeks in a row! Man, if you haven't heard it, WTF!! Search---> "Hurricane Chris She's Fine" in the mini T.V. search box (located in the side panel of this blog) and listen to it! The song is poppin!
